Metabolism is the number of the calories your body needs just to keep itself going. As you age your metabolic rate slows due to decline in activity levels and loss of muscle.

Boost your body’s ability to burn calories by kick starting your body into high gear by:
1. Lifting weights 2-3 times per week
2. Eating regularly
3. Adding protein to every meal
